Global's Energy Monitoring System

ResourceKraft Advisor®

ResourceKraft Advisor can help manage and save on your energy and resource usage.

What is ResourceKraft Advisor?

ResourceKraft Advisor is a computerised Energy and CO² monitoring system that users sensors and advanced metering technology to collect information about an organization’s energy and resource usage. This data is analysed in real-time to provide management and employees with the information that they need to identify waste and reduce energy and resource usage.

How can your energy and CO² consumption be reduced?

Through management by measurement and enabling informed decision-making and action on the key areas. While recognising the potential savings from energy, why do so few businesses have a plan to target these?

Responses like “It’s complicated”, “Lack Information & expertise”, “Expensive to implement” or “Not my major priority”are common.

What Will ResourceKraft Advisor Do For Me?

ResourceKraft Advisor leverages a range of cost-effective sensors and meters to collect data on electricity, gas and water usage and analyse it in real-time. By knowing where it is using energy and resources your organization can adopt new energy saving practices. ResourceKraft Advisor has a user-friendly, web-based user interface that provides your organization’s management with the information it needs to reduce energy and resource costs, while hiding the complex technical detail associated with sensors, loggers and meters. The system is designed to be usable by senior management, building management and other employees as necessary.

Features

  • Easy-to-use user interface means that users do not need to be energy experts to understand the data and its implications. e.g. electricity usage can be displayed in terms of Euros/hour, KWH or carbon emissions/hour.
  • Supports the monitoring of electricity, gas, oil and water usage.
  • Enables a range of wired, wireless and Ethernetbased sensors, thereby reducing installation costs.
  • The Web interface enables users to monitor resource usage from anywhere in the world (subject to security settings)
  • Web-based system means there is no complex software to install
  • Pre-programmed with applicable tariffs, to permit “what if” analysis of actual usage against tariffs.
  • Supports several views of data including: Executive Real Time Dashboard, 24 Hour View, 7 Day View, Average/Minimum/Maximum View
  • Provides several analysis reports, including: Tariff “What If” Analysis, Out-of-hours Usage, Baseline Usage
  • Role-based security system means that confidential energy data cannot be viewed by unauthorized users
  • User interface may be optionally customized to support the customers corporate branding and individual requirements
  • Special kiosk mode allows subset of data to be displayed to customers and the public (e.g. in the reception area of your organizations headquarters)
  • Displays estimate of greenhouse gases generated by electricity usage
  • Can be configured to automatically email updates on energy and resource usage to management, employees and other stakeholders
  • Facilities to export data to Microsoft© Excel and other office packages
  • Can optionally support environmental sensors such as temperature and humidity
  • Ability to monitor single and three phase electricity supplies
  • ResourceKraft Advisor provides a complete measurement and analysis solution.
  • In general, ResourceKraft aims to provide a Return On Investment (ROI) of 12 months or less with its systems.

Installation Information

The ResourceKraft Advisor software is hosted on a highly resilient server. The user interface is 100% web-based and is fully compatible with all recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Communication between the customer premises and the software takes place over the resilient GSM wireless network (or wired broadband if required). The measurement equipment is housed in secure steel cabinets, with externally mounted GSM antennae. A qualified electrician must carry out the installation of any monitoring equipment connected to the electricity grid.
