LED Lights
LED’s are small, solid light bulbs which are extremely energy-efficient. New LED bulbs are grouped in clusters with diffuser lenses which have broadened the applications for LED use in the home.
Until recently, LED’s were limited to single-bulb use in applications such as instrument panels, electronics, pen lights and, more recently, strings of indoor and outdoor

Recent improvements in manufacture have lowered the cost of LEDs, which has expanded their application. The bulbs are now available in clusters, from 2 to 36 bulbs, and are popular especially for battery powered items such as flashlights and headlamps. LEDs are also available in arrays which fit standard AC and DC receptacles, lamps, recessed and track lights.

MERCURY SOLAR POWER
MANAGEMENT UNITS
The Mercury Series of Power components provide a cost effective means of collecting Solar Energy for use with and of our DC range of lighting systems.
The Solar Panels con be combined with our control units to allow storage and controlled use of collected energy. Mercury Solar Power Management Units are 12volt DC power supplies that use solar generated power to operate LED Lighting Systems without any other source of power.
Using a 54 or 65Watt PV Panel, systems can be pole mounted, roof mounted or can be fitted to the sides of buildings and is fully adjustable for different light loads and times of operation.
The Solar Controller unit regulates the charge to the battery and automatically switches off the current when the batteries are fully charged. Together with the solar panel, the controller switches on the power to the LED load when the light level is low and turns the power off when the light level increases at dawn.
