What is the SolaTrack?
SolaTrack is a solar tracking system designed for simple installation and operations therefore greatly reducing the installation costs of small solar systems.
The kit is designed around a German designed single axis solar tracking system specifically engineered for simple installation and very low maintenance. The SolaTrack tracks the sun in an East-West axis to maximize the efficiency of the solar array with the simplest system possible.
The system is designed to be easily installed by anyone with reasonable technical competence (Note: A professional electrician will be required to do the final connection to the mains electricity system if supplied with a Grid inverter).
The SolaTrack 600 system can supply up to 600W depending upon the range of solar modules used.
Global Energy also supply larger SolaTrack systems capable of supplying up to 2Kw.

Features
Technical Information
Single-axis solar tracking increases the energy return of solar modules, dependent on location, by approximately 25% in northern
The system is designed to withstand wind speeds up to 120Km per hour and returns to a horizontal position at night to minimize wind strain.
The system utilizes a very low power tracking system that only requires circa 1.25kwh/year.
