Global Energy's Solar Tracking System

What is the SolaTrack?

SolaTrack is a solar tracking system designed for simple installation and operations therefore greatly reducing the installation costs of small solar systems.

The kit is designed around a German designed single axis solar tracking system specifically engineered for simple installation and very low maintenance. The SolaTrack tracks the sun in an East-West axis to maximize the efficiency of the solar array with the simplest system possible.

The system is designed to be easily installed by anyone with reasonable technical competence (Note: A professional electrician will be required to do the final connection to the mains electricity system if supplied with a Grid inverter).

The SolaTrack 600 system can supply up to 600W depending upon the range of solar modules used.

Global Energy also supply larger SolaTrack systems capable of supplying up to 2Kw.

  • Maintenance free
  • Easy to install
  • Visually attractive design
  • Cost effective tracking system
  • Flexible PV panels mountings to balance between power requirements and budget
  • No fault prone light sensor
  • All European and Japanese engineering. Absolutely no cheap, unsafe components.
  • High reliability and long life expectancy
  • The solar frame is backed by a 10 year warranty
  • The system is supplied with state of the art photovoltaic panels guaranteed for 20 years
  • System supplied with Mastervolt grid Inverter

Technical Information

Single-axis solar tracking increases the energy return of solar modules, dependent on location, by approximately 25% in northern Europe during summer months.

The system is designed to withstand wind speeds up to 120Km per hour and returns to a horizontal position at night to minimize wind strain.

The system utilizes a very low power tracking system that only requires circa 1.25kwh/year.
